A rare opportunity to join an evolving hospitality group. This Monday to Sunday operation requires a General Manager who will lead and support the operational team as needed at peak trading times including evenings.
We are partnering with one of the most exciting hospitality businesses in the UK right now. The role involves managing a dynamic destination venue with exceptional food and drink offers, entertainment, events, private hire, and high guest expectations across every daypart. You will be the driving force behind performance, culture, and experience, leading a team from the front, setting the rhythm of the floor, and ensuring every moving part operates seamlessly.
You will think like an owner, act like a host, and lead like a coach. As General Manager, you will work five out of seven days, leading and supporting the operational team as needed at peak trading times including evenings.
What you'll lead:
- Culture & Team Performance: Develop and empower a strong senior team with clear accountability; create succession pipelines and genuine development pathways; drive engagement, retention, and performance through visible, values-led leadership.
- Guest & Operational Excellence: Be present and impactful on the floor - setting standards in real time; oversee multiple concepts and ensure cohesion in quality and service; champion exceptional experiences across food, drink, atmosphere, and events.
- Commercial Ownership: Full accountability for site P&L; drive revenue through smart sales strategy, event activation, and partnerships; manage labour, GP, and costs with precision and pace; use data to identify opportunity and act decisively.
- Growth & Market Presence: Build strong local relationships and repeat corporate/event business; maximise quieter trading windows creatively; work cross-functionally to accelerate performance and innovation.
- Compliance & Governance: Maintain exemplary food safety, licensing, and H&S standards; deliver outstanding audit and mystery guest results; protect team and guest wellbeing at all times.
