A vibrant and dynamic events venue in London, UK is seeking a Sales & Events Manager with a salary of £37-40,000 plus bonus and benefits. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident, commercially minded individual to own the venue’s sales pipeline and events delivery, from first enquiry through to guest follow-up, playing a key role in driving profitable bookings and memorable experiences.

Reporting day-to-day to the General Manager (with a dotted line into the Sales & Marketing Director), you will be responsible for:

  • Owning the venue’s inbound and proactive sales pipeline (corporate, private hire, group bookings and events)
  • Responding to enquiries quickly, warmly and professionally
  • Qualifying enquiries thoroughly and building tailored, margin-protective proposals
  • Driving conversion through confident pricing, upselling and clear next steps
  • Building key accounts and repeat bookers to generate predictable revenue
  • Proactively sourcing new leads via networking, local outreach and partnerships
  • Acting as a local brand ambassador at networking events, showcases and industry meet-ups
  • Planning and delivering events end-to-end, ensuring seamless handover to Operations
  • Being the primary client contact pre-event and during key moments where required
  • Leading post-event follow-up to drive reviews, referrals and repeat bookings
  • Using CRM systems with discipline: accurate pipelines, forecasting and reporting
  • Collaborating closely with Marketing, Operations and fellow venue teams

  • Comfortable networking and building relationships in the local market
  • Collaborative, proactive and detail-oriented
