Multitech Site Services is a leading specialist contractor supplying temporary services to the UK construction industry. This includes temporary electrics, plumbing and public health services.

We’re looking for a pro‑active and driven team player who is comfortable in leading a team of electricians, improvers and apprentices in the field. The Working Contracts Supervisor supports the Contracts Manager with the day-to-day oversight and delivery of temporary site services. This role is key to ensuring service consistency and standards implementation. You will interact regularly with our customers and help us to maintain our excellent reputation as we deliver upon the promise of our brand.

As Electrical Working Supervisor, you will be a valued member of our West region and will report into the Contracts Manager on a daily basis which will include providing updates on site progress, quality of site installations and ensuring that our clients are given an efficient service from our site operations team. Ideally, you will be an experienced supervisor of teams; however, we are open to considering a development opportunity for the right person if you have worked as a qualified electrician in a leading role.

Main Responsibilities And Accountabilities Of The Role

  • Ensure that the expected standards are maintained by our site personnel; in particular site productivity, uniform, safety, time keeping and paperwork.
  • Visit sites and supervise the operations of our ESSW to ensure we are compliant.
  • Visit sites and supervise installations teams - sign off / snag work upon completion.
  • Visit sites to gather information for variation works to be priced by the Contracts Managers.
  • Coordinate with the customer work start dates and work scopes to be completed.
  • Assist with the development and training of site team personnel.
  • Work with team engineers to improve our project engineering abilities.
  • Foster and improve upon our strong safety culture, review site risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) and ensure teams understand and comply with.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of departmental processes and procedures to improve efficiency and continue to meet the changing business needs.

Skills And Experience

Essential

  • 5+ years experience as a Senior Electrician.
  • Proven supervisory ability within the construction and allied industries.
  • Strong communication and team building skills.
  • A thorough understanding of industry health and safety issues.
  • Full driving license.

Preferred

  • Temporary electrical sector experience.
  • Mechanical qualification / experience.
  • Appropriate health and safety qualification SSSTS / SMSTS / NEBOSH.
  • Past involvement of staff training.
  • Construction industry contacts.
