The predicted salary is between 25000 - 30000 £ per year.

Depending on experience you may initially be required to spend some time in the Workshop and Warehouse, being part of a busy Warehouse and Workshop Team. This position will involve the preparation, picking and loading of temporary equipment for daily delivery by our small fleet of delivery vehicles to construction sites across London, and the South and East of England.

In order to understand our plant, equipment and basic electrical tasks, there will be training surrounding the receipt, repair, cleaning and servicing of temporary electrical equipment, which will aid in the development of skills required to succeed in the role. Following a successful initial training period, the next phase will continue onto external sites to gain operational experience whilst working under the guidance and training of a qualified electrician. During your training, you will work on temporary services, assisting and carrying out installations of all aspects of electrical installations with a small element of plumbing activity.

Main Responsibilities And Accountabilities Of The Role
  • Complete initial training within the Warehouse and Workshop departments
  • Develop practical and theoretical skills by assisting the onsite Electrician
  • Carry out basic electrical installation work under supervision
  • Manual handling such as moving plant, positioning equipment and cable pulling
  • Where appropriate, erect and locate access equipment
  • Basic temporary services plumbing
  • Keep all work areas clean and tidy, which includes company vehicles
Essential Skills and Experience
  • A full driving license and own transport
  • Positive attitude to learning, committed and hard working
  • This role requires manual work and some heavy lifting
Preferred
  • Previous site experience
  • Completed level 1 & 2 Electrical Installations
Support and Training

The successful applicant will be expected to undertake departmental specific development and training. And will be provided with comprehensive training plan for the role which will include spending time working with other teams in the business.

Remuneration & Benefits

We offer a competitive salary and, following successful completion of probation, we provide Private Medical and Dental Insurance. Other benefits include 23 days annual plus public holidays and Life insurance is provided to staff with over 1 year’s continuous service.
