About the Role: Multitask Recruitment Solutions are recruiting an experienced Fabricator / MIG Welder to join a well-established manufacturer within the gym equipment industry. This role is ideal for a hands-on fabricator who can work from drawings, fabricate components from raw materials, and complete assemblies to a high standard as part of a skilled production team.

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Overtime available.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble steel components from engineering drawings
  • Carry out MIG welding to a high standard on mild steel components
  • Measure, cut, drill, and prepare materials prior to fabrication
  • Assemble frames and structures in line with technical specifications
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, strength, and finish
  • Use fabrication tools and equipment safely and effectively
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Follow all health and safety procedures at all times
  • Work closely with team members to meet production deadlines

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Fabricator / Welder in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Confident in MIG welding and general fabrication techniques
  • Experience working with mild steel
  • Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Assembly experience is advantageous
  • Reliable, safety-conscious, and a team player
