About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Forklift & Warehouse Operative to join our busy warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of accuracy, organisation, and safety.
As part of our warehouse operation, you'll play a vital role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently while supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Booking in deliveries from suppliers.
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming stock.
- Loading and unloading vehicles using a counterbalance forklift (where licensed).
- Preparing, wrapping, and palletising goods for dispatch.
- Organising and maintaining bulk storage areas.
- Picking and fulfilling internal stock requests accurately.
- Carrying out regular stock counts and assisting with stock movement.
- Completing daily warehouse and forklift safety checks.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
- Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties as required.
What We're Looking For
- Previous warehouse experience is desirable.
- A Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.
