Job Description
Packaging Supervisor
We are looking for an experienced Packaging Supervisor to join a busy manufacturing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the day-to-day packing operation to ensure production targets are met.
- Lead, support and motivate the packing team.
- Ensure products are packed safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.
- Make sure packing areas are fully stocked and ready to support production.
- Monitor productivity and identify ways to improve performance and efficiency.
- Complete daily reports and provide updates to management.
- Manage staffing levels to meet production plans.
- Train new and existing team members and ensure SOPs are followed.
- Maintain accurate stock control and production records.
- Approve holidays and support absence management to ensure adequate cover.
- Carry out return-to-work meetings and annual performance reviews.
- Promote excellent housekeeping and ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Attend weekly operations meetings and support continuous improvement projects.

- Previous experience in a supervisory role within manufacturing or production.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
