Multitask is seeking a skilled Shot Blaster / Powder Coater to join our team in Leyland. This is a full-time, night-shift position offering a competitive hourly rate and the opportunity to work within a well-established manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces for coating by shot blasting to remove rust, scale, and contaminants.
- Applying powder coating to metal components using industry-standard techniques.
- Ensuring coatings are applied evenly and to the required thickness.
- Operating and maintaining shot blasting and powder coating equipment.
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure a high standard of finish.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements
- Previous experience in shot blasting and/or powder coating.
- Knowledge of surface preparation and coating processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work night shifts (Monday to Thursday, 6 PM – 6 AM).
