Our client, a leading manufacturing business based in Leyland, is seeking a reliable and motivated Warehouse & FLT Operator to join their operations team. This role is ideal for someone with warehouse and forklift experience who can work safely and efficiently within a fast-paced production environment, supporting the movement, storage, and dispatch of materials and finished products.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out daily checks on dock levellers and FLTs, completing records and reporting defects
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and company policies at all times
- Unload deliveries safely by hand or using FLT equipment, reporting any damages or shortages
- Store, handle, and repack products safely in the correct warehouse locations
- Ensure stock rotation procedures are followed
- Move materials safely in line with manual handling procedures
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch
- Supply materials to production lines in line with operational requirements
- Maintain accurate stock and inventory records
- Assist with stock counts and inventory checks when required
- Handle hazardous materials safely and responsibly
- Maintain high housekeeping standards across warehouse and work areas
- Work in line with all health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Valid Bendi/FLT licence
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good numeracy and basic IT skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills
- Flexible and reliable approach to work
- Understanding of quality standards and customer expectations

- Monday to Friday
- Afternoon shift: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
