Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operative to join our client's expanding team based in the scenic area of Kirkham. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and skilled forklift operator to secure a role within a fast-paced production environment, with the potential for a permanent position.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operating a counterbalance forklift truck
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Moving materials and stock around the site
- Supporting the production team with general operational duties
- Carrying out heavy lifting and manual handling where required
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work environment
Candidate Requirements
- A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence
- Previous experience operating a counterbalance forklift in a production or warehouse environment
- Strong attention to detail and a positive work ethic
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Own transport is desirable due to the rural location of the site
Working Hours
Monday to Friday shift pattern. 6am - 4pm for one week then rotate to 4pm to 2am. Overtime available subject to business requirements.
