Multitask Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a part time Cleaner based in Blackburn.
Hours: 9 hours per week (3 hours per day, 3 days per week Mon, Weds and Thurs 2.30pm - 5.30pm)
Start Date: April 2026
About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Cleaner. The successful candidate will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for pupils, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Cleaning classrooms, corridors, offices, and communal areas
- Vacuuming, mopping, and dusting surfaces
- Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately
- Replenishing cleaning supplies where required
- Ensuring cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
Requirements
- Previous cleaning experience is essential
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy
- Understanding of health and safety practices
Safeguarding
This role involves working in a school environment with children. The successful candidate will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check and provide suitable references before employment can commence.
