Fabricator / Welder
Multitask recruitment are looking for experienced Fabricators and Welders with a background in structural steel and heavy fabrication for our busy client in Clitheroe.
If you have a strong work ethic, take pride in producing high-quality workmanship, and have experience working with heavy steel fabrications, we want to hear from you.
The Role
- As part of our skilled fabrication team, you will be responsible for:
- Fabricating structural steel and heavy steel components from engineering drawings.
- MIG welding to a high standard.
- Measuring, marking out, cutting and assembling steelwork.
- Using fabrication machinery, hand tools and workshop equipment safely.
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure work meets specification.
- Working efficiently as part of a professional and supportive team.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in structural steel or heavy fabrication.
- Strong MIG welding and fabrication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Reliable, hardworking and committed to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
