The Role
As an Assembly Operative, you will play a key role in manufacturing finished products to precise specifications and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assembling and testing components to create finished products
- Following detailed instructions, diagrams, and specifications
- Inspecting parts for defects and ensuring quality standards are consistently met
- Operating hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently
- Preparing completed products for dispatch
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Working closely with colleagues and supervisors to achieve daily production targets
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous assembly experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- The ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently
- Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude
- A reliable and positive work ethic
Working Hours & Pay
- Monday to Thursday: 7:45am – 4:15pm
- Friday: Early finish
- Total Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Pay Rate: £13.26 per hour
