We are currently recruiting an ADR-qualified driver for ongoing work involving the collection and transportation of gas cylinders. The majority of routes are based in Lancashire (approximately 90%), with additional work across Yorkshire. The role includes multiple drops and collections of gas cylinders and filling out the necessary paperwork. Training will be provided, particularly around gas cylinder identification.
Key Responsibilities
- Driving for gas cylinder collections and deliveries
- Correct identification and safe handling of gas cylinders (training provided)
- Completion of delivery notes and compliance paperwork
- Adherence to ADR, safety, and company procedures
- Manual handling of cylinders (some are heavy; equipment provided)
Requirements
- Valid ADR licence (essential)
- Full UK driving licence (suitable for 3.5 tonne vehicle)
- Previous ADR or hazardous goods experience preferred
- Comfortable with paperwork and compliance documentation
- Reliable, professional, and safety-conscious
