Multitask Personnel are working with a leading utilities provider to recruit Meter Readers in the Holt area. If you enjoy working independently, being outdoors and want to play a part in a more sustainable energy future, this could be the role for you!
The Role
- Visit homes and businesses to take accurate meter readings
- Carry out visual checks on metering equipment
- Record information using a mobile app
- Manage your own schedule and workload
About You
We’re looking for reliable, customer-focused people who are happy working on their own initiative. You’ll be confident speaking with customers and enjoy being out and about each day.
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Access to your own vehicle for work use
- Basic business insurance (or willingness to obtain it)
- Must live in the NR25 postcode area
- Able to pass a basic criminal record check (DBS)
- Able to provide 5 years’ worth of work references
Desirable Experience
- Customer service or field-based work
- Using mobile apps or handheld devices
- Awareness of GDPR and confidentiality
- Managing your own workload
