Location: Barnsley
Hours: Tuesday to Friday, 06:00 to finish (usually around 15:45)

About the role
Our client delivers essential services across Barnsley, including household bin collections. We’re recruiting Waste Loaders on a temporary ongoing basis. You’ll work on collection vehicles across the borough, loading household and recycling waste safely and efficiently. This is a physically demanding job. Expect to be on your feet for up to 8 hours a day in all weather.

What you’ll do

• Load household and recycling bins onto collection vehicles
• Follow safe working practices and manual handling guidance
• Work as part of a small crew to complete daily routes
• Provide a helpful, professional service to the public

What you’ll need

• Reliability and good timekeeping for 06:00 starts
• A decent level of physical fitness
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather
• Teamwork, common sense and a positive attitude

Pay and benefits

• £13.26 per hour
• Paid weekly
• Ongoing temporary work with stable mid-week shifts

Registration

To apply, you’ll need to complete full registration with Multitask Personnel and provide:

• Passport or full birth certificate
• Two proofs of address dated within the past 3 months
• Proof of National Insurance
• An up-to-date CV covering at least the last 10 years
  • Any gaps over 12 weeks must be explained
• Contactable references to cover the last 2 years
  • Every role from the last 2 years must be verified
  • Any employment gaps must be covered by a character reference
  • Character referees cannot be family members or anyone you live with
