  • White Goods Install Trainer – Electrician
  • Hours of work: Monday to Friday
  • Driving licence: no more than 6 points

An exciting opportunity for one of our fast‑growing clients.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive White Goods Installer with demonstrated training experience to oversee the installation of freestanding and integrated appliances.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys training staff members to ensure the correct methods are used when fitting appliances into people’s homes.

Responsibilities

  • Design lessons – create easy‑to‑follow guides for installing white goods (fridges, washers, ovens).
  • Teach classes – lead hands‑on practice in a safe workshop setting.
  • Check skills – test new hires to make sure they can perform the job independently.
  • Safety first – teach safe lifting, use of tools, and basic electrical and plumbing safety.
  • Fix problems – show trainees how to spot and solve common installation errors.
  • Track progress – keep records of who has finished training and identify areas needing additional support.

Qualifications

  • Expert knowledge of fitting built‑in and freestanding white goods.
  • Trade skills – good working knowledge of basic household electrics and plumbing.
  • Communication – clear, patient, friendly teaching style.
  • Experience – past work in a training role or strong field experience as a Senior Installer.
  • Proven experience in integrated appliance installation.
  • Good plumbing knowledge and skills – gas certificates desirable.
  • Must have electrical knowledge, 18th edition, and Level 3 NVQ.
  • Previous experience mentoring and supporting other team members.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communications skills to liaise confidently with customers and team members.
  • Must be able to drive.
