Hours: 8am to 4.30pm with 1 hour lunch

Salary: £28,000 – £34,000 basic (£38,000 – £44,000 OTE)

About the Role

Our client is looking for an organised, commercially minded and proactive Commercial Sales Co‑Ordinator to support our growing commercial sales function. This role is designed to remove administrative and operational pressure from the sales process, allowing the wider commercial team to focus on strategy, customer engagement and project conversion. You will work closely with the Head of Sales and wider internal teams to manage customer communication, proposal administration, tender support, sales follow ups and internal workflow coordination. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career within the renewable energy sector, with clear progression opportunities into Bid Management, Business Development, Account Management or Channel Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing inbound sales enquiries and customer communication
  • Progressing Solar PV designs and coordinating with the internal design team
  • Following up unsigned proposals, quotations and contract documentation
  • Conducting quote and proposal follow up calls and emails
  • Supporting bid writing and tender submissions
  • Tracking tender deadlines, submission timelines and supporting documentation
  • Coordinating required client information for quotations and proposals
  • Updating CRM systems and maintaining pipeline visibility
  • Managing commercial documentation and proposal formatting
  • Supporting the Head of Sales with scheduling and administrative tasks
  • Ensuring opportunities progress efficiently through the sales pipeline
  • Coordinating communication between sales, design, marketing and operations teams
  • Supporting business development activity and customer relationship management
  • Assisting with internal reporting and opportunity tracking

About You

They are looking for someone who is highly organised, commercially aware and confident communicating with customers and internal stakeholders. You do not need to come directly from the Solar PV industry, however experience within a commercial, technical or project coordination environment would be highly beneficial.
