This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven Sales & Project Consultant to join a growing commercial team within the industrial storage and fit-out sector. The role offers real variety, combining business development, account management, estimating and project management, giving you the chance to see projects through from first enquiry to successful completion. Previous experience within industrial storage or fit-out is not essential - what matters most is the right attitude, a commercial mindset and a genuine willingness to learn. Full training will be provided on products, systems and processes, making this an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career as a trusted consultant.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities through networking, referrals and prospecting
- Attend client meetings and carry out site surveys and measurements
- Build long-term relationships with new and existing customers, managing accounts and cross selling the full range of services
- Manage projects from initial enquiry through to successful completion, preparing quotations and tender submissions
- Interpret client requirements and develop suitable solutions, coordinating with internal design, estimating and operational teams
- Complete layouts and design proposals, working alongside CAD designers and estimators
- Develop a strong understanding of warehouse layouts, racking systems, mezzanine floors, office fit-outs, building regulations and construction solutions
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure projects are delivered in line with client expectations
About You
- We welcome applications from candidates with a variety of backgrounds, including construction sales, internal sales, builders merchants, estimating, assistant project management, technical sales, CAD/design, construction graduates, or industrial/commercial construction. Industry experience is desirable but not essential.

- Commercial awareness and confidence dealing with clients
- Self-motivated and ambitious
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel nationally when required
