Contract: Full Time, Permanent

Hours: Monday to Friday – based local to site

Multitask are excited to be partnering with a reputable manufacturer on a role which will work closely with the sales and engineers’ team. Working directly with the head of the department.

This is a great role for anyone who has technical understanding and has worked in engineering or manufacturing before – don’t worry too much about knowing everything this can be trained, you just need to be really thinking about driving the business forward!

The Role

  • To drive profitable and sustainable growth within the Industrial division by combining technical engineering expertise with consultative sales; develop long-term customer relationships, identify new business opportunities, and provide expert technical advice on industrial lubricants, fluid management, condition monitoring, and reliability solutions.
  • Working closely with customers, identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability, reduce maintenance costs, and optimise operational performance through the application of products and services; requires strong customer focus, commercial awareness and the ability to translate technical challenges into practical, value-added solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop profitable relationships with new and existing customers
  • Prepare quotations, technical proposals and commercial recommendations
  • Achieve agreed sales and margin targets
  • Conduct customer site surveys to identify lubrication and reliability improvement opportunities and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Interpret oil analysis reports and provide recommendations to customers
  • Support product trials, commissioning and implementation of new products
  • Investigate lubrication-related equipment issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Deliver customer training on lubrication best practice and product application
  • Work closely with the Technical Department to resolve complex customer enquiries
  • Customer Relationship Management: develop trusted relationships with key customer contacts, understand customer operations, equipment and maintenance strategies, identify opportunities to improve productivity and reduce operating costs, provide regular technical and commercial reviews, ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention

Desirable

  • Technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or similar, or equivalent industry experience
  • Knowledge of industrial lubricants and greases
  • Experience of Fluid Management
  • Knowledge of Oil Condition Monitoring
  • Experience within manufacturing or heavy industry
