Roofer - Barnsley
£20.27 per hour | Initial 3-Month Contract | Immediate Start Available
Multitask Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced Roofer to join a well-established local authority maintenance team in Barnsley.
This role will focus on both planned repairs and responsive maintenance work across domestic properties, ensuring roofing repairs and maintenance are completed safely and to a high standard.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate
- £20.27 per hour (contract rate)
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance on residential properties.
- Complete planned maintenance and responsive repair works.
- Diagnose roofing issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety requirements.
- Maintain excellent standards of workmanship and customer service.
Requirements
- City & Guilds qualification in Roofing (or equivalent).
- Valid CSCS Blue Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Previous experience working within social housing, local authority, planned maintenance, or responsive repairs environments.
- Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
