About the Role

We are currently recruiting experienced Dual Fuel Engineers across the YO postcode area due to continued growth and increased contract demand. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established team delivering high-quality smart metering services while providing an exceptional customer experience. As a Dual Fuel Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and removal of smart meters, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with industry standards. You will also play a key role in educating customers on the benefits and functionality of their smart meters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, exchange, maintain and remove smart meters
  • Conduct communication testing for meters and associated equipment
  • Liaise effectively with the Delivery Support Team
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety and industry regulations
  • Maintain accurate records and manage stock effectively
  • Deliver outstanding customer service at every appointment
  • Adhere to company policies and compliance procedures at all times

Qualifications & Experience

Essential:

  • CMA1/CCN1, REGT1, MET1, MET2 or equivalent gas qualifications
  • EUSR Registration
  • Level 2 Diploma in Smart Metering (Dual Fuel/Power) or proof of electrical competence
  • Previous Dual Fuel Smart Metering experience
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Strong technical knowledge and excellent customer communication skills
