Multitask Personnel Ltd is acting as a Recruitment Business on behalf of our leading utilities client, who is seeking experienced Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installers to join their growing metering division. Salary & Earnings

  • PAYE Engineers: Up to £52,000 OTE
  • Self-Employed/Subcontractors: Up to £70,000 OTE
  • Additional earnings available through call-out and overtime opportunities

OTE based on completing an average of 3 dual fuel installations and 1 single fuel installation per day.

The Role

As a Dual Fuel Smart Meter Installer, you will be responsible for the safe installation, exchange, commissioning, and maintenance of smart metering systems within domestic properties. You will play a key role in delivering outstanding customer service while ensuring all work is completed to industry and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, exchange and commission Dual Fuel Smart Meters (Gas & Electric)
  • Ensure all work complies with industry regulations and health & safety requirements
  • Diagnose and resolve metering faults where required
  • Deliver excellent customer service during every customer visit
  • Accurately complete job records using handheld technology
  • Work efficiently to achieve productivity targets while maintaining quality and safety standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Previous Dual Fuel Metering experience within the last 12 months
  • Valid CCN1/CMA1 and MET1 qualifications with a minimum of 6 months remaining
  • Current MOCoP accreditation
  • Full UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 penalty points
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Professional attitude with a commitment to safety and compliance
