Job Overview: Our client are currently seeking an experienced Cavity Wall Installer to join their team working on decarbonisation programmes across South Yorkshire. This role involves the safe removal of existing cavity wall insulation and the installation of new fibre insulation systems in residential properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out cavity wall insulation extraction in line with industry standards
- Install new fibre cavity wall insulation efficiently and to specification
- Ensure all work complies with health & safety regulations and project requirements
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer care on occupied properties
- Complete job documentation and reports accurately
Essential Qualifications:
- NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Cavity Wall Extraction
- NVQ Level 2 in Insulation and Building Treatments – Cavity Wall Insulation
- ACOP certificate.
Desirable (Not Essential):
- NVQ in Loft Insulation
Experience & Skills:
- Proven experience in cavity wall extraction and insulation installation
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good understanding of retrofit or energy efficiency projects
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
