Multitask Personnel are recruiting for an experienced Building Fabric Technician / Fabric Engineer to join a leading building services contractor within their facilities management division. This role involves delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM), reactive maintenance, and installation works across a range of building fabric and general maintenance tasks on multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out PPM, reactive maintenance and installation works across building fabric
  • General building repairs including roofing, guttering, brickwork, flooring and external works
  • Internal maintenance including carpentry, plastering, painting and decorating, glazing and wall repairs
  • Joinery works including doors, frames, locks, handles and fittings
  • Basic plumbing and drainage works including toilets, sinks, pipework and leaks
  • Ensure all works are completed in line with SLAs and health & safety regulations
  • Update and maintain CAFM system records
  • Travel between multiple sites as required

Requirements:

  • NVQ Level 2 in General Building Operations / Construction / Joinery (or equivalent)
  • Valid CSCS card
  • Proven experience in building fabric maintenance, FM, or shopfitting environments
  • Multi-skilled across carpentry, basic plumbing and general building repairs
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload
  • Good IT skills (CAFM systems or similar)
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Flexible and proactive approach to work

Package:

  • £33,053 per annum + On-Call 1 in 4 - £1,950 per annum + Overtime after 37.5 hours (1.5X)
  • 31 days holiday (including bank holidays)
