They are currently looking for a skilled Solar Roofer to join their team in Reading.
About the Role
As a Solar Roofer, you will play a key role in the installation and maintenance of domestic Solar PV systems and battery storage. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about renewable energy and seeking to build a long-term career in a supportive and forward-thinking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Install solar PV systems on domestic properties, including panel mounting, cable routing, and sealing
- Collaborate with electricians and other trades to complete full system installations
- Conduct roof assessments and report any structural concerns
- Ensure all installations comply with health and safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
Requirements
- Proven experience installing rooftop solar PV systems (minimum 2 years preferred)
- Strong understanding of solar PV components and mounting systems
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions
- CSCS card and Working at Heights certification (preferred)
- Good communication skills and a professional, customer-focused approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Full UK driving licence
- Must be able to pass a DBS check
