Our partner is a well-established Industrial Electrical Engineering Contractor that has been delivering exceptional services across various industry sectors in the UK for the past 25 years. The company is renowned for its quality service and extensive range of electrical solutions provided on Industrial sites, including quarries, large factories, and waste treatment plants.
We’re recruiting for an Industrial electrician to work around the Nottinghamshire area on a permanent basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work as part of the project installation team at client's sites.
- Install, gland, and terminate various multi-core cables (XPLE/SWA), and handle the fabrication and installation of ladder, tray, and basket containment.
- Install control equipment, Motor Control Centers (MCCs), isolators, distribution boards, emergency stops, various instrumentation (e.g., rotation sensors, level sensors), and industrial single-phase and 3-phase Star and Delta motors.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Fully qualified
- AM2
- Gold Card
- 18th Edition.
- Valid Full UK driving license.
- Industrial Experience.
Benefits:
- Salary: Circa £50k including OT
- Pension: NEST Scheme with 4% company contribution.
- Holidays: 24 days per year plus 8 statutory holidays.
- Company Vehicle: A van is provided for multi-site work.
- Fuel: Business miles fuel card provided with the van.
- Working Hours: Average working hours are 50hrs per week (40hrs basic/10hrs at OT rate)
- Work Location: Project sites with occasional visits to the client's office.
- Tools: All PPE, specialist tools, and testers provided by the company.
