We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Technical and Quality Assistant to join our Client. This is a hands-on Technical Assistant role where you’ll play a key part in maintaining quality, food safety and compliance across the site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an organised, detail-focused and proactive individual who enjoys working across teams and making a real impact. You’ll support audits, investigations and continuous improvement activities in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for a confident communicator with a strong eye for detail and excellent Microsoft Office skills. Key responsibilities: * Support quality control programmes and ensure compliance with food safety standards * Assist with audits, traceability exercises and site accreditation requirements * Investigate non-conformances and support root cause analysis and corrective actions * Monitor and report on quality KPIs, complaints and technical data * Work closely with production, laboratory teams and external partners * Support inductions, documentation and continuous improvement initiatives What we’re looking for: * Experience in a technical or quality role within food manufacturing or dairy * Understanding of food safety standards (e.g. HACCP, BRCGS) * Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) * Excellent organisation, attention to detail and analytical skills * Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships across teams * A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused mindset Working hours: Monday - Friday 7am - 3.30pm
