Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Service Accounts Administrator to join our Service / Aftersales Department based in Worcester. This position plays a key role in supporting the financial operations of the Service Accounts team, ensuring accurate billing and excellent customer service across both business and consumer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Debt Control:
  • Contact customers to request and process payments in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of payment activity and communications.
  • Job Report Checking and Billing Creation:
    • Review service job reports for accuracy and completeness prior to invoicing.
    • Create and issue customer invoices in line with company policies and contractual agreements.
    • Investigate and resolve billing queries promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Additional Duties:
    • Respond to customer financial queries via phone and email in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Process refunds, generate statements, and assist with contract account creation.
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the Service Accounts team.

    Skills and Experience

    Essential:

    • Positive outlook with a proactive β€œcan-do” attitude.
    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial and administrative tasks.
    • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team.
    • Good standard of English and numeracy skills.

    Preferred:

    • Financial or accountancy experience is ideal but not essential.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
    • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

    Contract Type: 6-Month Fixed Term Contract (Potential for Extension)
    Working Hours: 40 hours per week – 7:00am to 4:00pm or 8:00am to 5:00pm
    Hourly Rate: Β£13.99 per hour
    Start Date: As soon as possible
