We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Redditch. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, with a primary focus on replenishing pick locations and handling stock safely and accurately. This is a hands-on role that requires physical activity, attention to detail, and adherence to health and safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Replenish pick locations accurately and efficiently to ensure smooth order fulfillment
- Move, lift, and transport boxes from racking to designated areas
- Safely climb up and down ladders to access stock stored at height
- Ensure stock is correctly rotated and stored in appropriate locations
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse environment
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and warehouse procedures at all times
- Report any damaged stock, equipment issues, or safety concerns to management
- Support general warehouse duties as required
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is essential
- Experience with stock replenishment and manual handling tasks
- Confidence and ability to work at height using ladders
- Good level of physical fitness due to manual handling requirements
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and reliability
Health & Safety Requirements
- Ability to safely lift and move boxes in line with manual handling guidelines
- Comfortable working in a physically demanding role
