Role Overview
The Warehouse Operative will be responsible for assisting in the smooth running of the warehouse operations, including receiving materials, picking and packing orders, stock control, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming raw materials.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately according to order sheets and production schedules.
- Load and unload deliveries safely using manual handling techniques or forklift equipment (if qualified).
- Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory control.
- Ensure proper labelling and documentation of goods.
- Work closely with production and dispatch teams to meet order deadlines.
