Our client is an established privately owned business based in Kidderminster that primarily distributes fuel, lubricants and chemicals around the UK. In addition to this, our client offers complimentary environmental and industrial services to a broad base of private and public sector customers. Continued growth across the business has resulted in the requirement to expand their industrial services team immediately.
Based in Kidderminster, the role will be working around the UK on customers' premises. This will mean nights away from home which is typically no more than three nights per week (sometimes none) but on certain projects, it could be up to 10 days. This position will be working on industrial services projects such as oil tank cleaning, fuel polishing, confined space work, site decommissioning, oil tank installations and industrial water jetting.
Person Specification:
- The role will involve working away. This will typically be one or two nights per week but can be longer for specific projects. Expenses and allowances will be paid.
- Based close to Kidderminster, Worcestershire. Must be able to get to our facility due to response work.
- The role can be physically strenuous.
- Full UK manual car driving licence – HGV would be advantageous.
- Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces and at heights.
- Must be a team player. The role will be working closely with colleagues.
- Must be flexible. We are required to work some weekends and bank holidays plus occasionally unsociable hours.
- Safety conscious approach to work - compliance with all Health & Safety requirements at all times – safety is paramount.
- Ability to use own initiative.
- Excellent punctuality and professionalism.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an industrial services or similar role.
- CSCS / CCNSG safety passport card (preferable).
- Confined space / BA trained (preferable).
- IPAF (preferable).
- Water jetting (preferable).
- Practical experience working with tools and machinery.
