Factory Labourer

We are seeking candidates to operate tools and machinery safely, follow instructions, and help produce high-quality pre-cast products.

Main Responsibilities

• Carry out at least one pre-cast task (e.g., wash moulds, inspect cores, repair moulds, wrap products).
• Follow technical cards and instructions from your manager.
• Learn how materials affect the final product and use this knowledge in your work.
• Keep your work area clean and organised.
• Support safety rules, quality checks, and improvement projects.

Skills & Experience Needed

• Experience in manufacturing or casting (preferred).
• Able to use basic tools, including abrasive tools.
• Good attention to detail and able to follow written instructions.
• Good communication and able to work under pressure.
• GCSE Maths & English (A-C) or equivalent.
• FLT and Pedestrian Truck Licence (essential)

Physical Requirements

• Able to do physical, hands-on work.
• Good vision (with glasses or contact lenses if needed).
• Able to stand for long periods, bend, crouch, and lift.

Hours of Work

Shift Rotation:

• Week 1 – Mon – Thur 05:30am to 13:45 Fri – 05:30am to 11:45am
• Week 2 – Mon – Thur 14:00pm to 22:00pm Fri – 12:00pm to 19:00pm

Rate of Pay

£14.49 per hour.
