Senior Full Stack Engineer Multiply is a company that provides personalised financial advice at scale to everyday people. We are currently in an exciting phase of growth, having secured funding from a strategic investor and are looking to scale our operations. We are seeking an ambitious and hungry full stack developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of Python, experience with Postgres or other relational DBs, and a passion for building maintainable and high-quality code. You’ll also have a strong grasp of JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with React or similar tools, and a passion for building maintainable and high-quality code. You should also be a strong problem-solver, with a customer-centric attitude and a desire to learn new skills. What are we looking for? Engineering fundamentals, with a passion for learning more You’ll have a good working knowledge of Python, with strong experience of web frameworks and API design You’ll be experienced with build tooling in large Python projects e.g. pants You’ll be comfortable with cloud based infrastructure, databases (especially PostgresQL) and designing distributed systems Comfortable with JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with React or similar tools, and a passion for building maintainable and high-quality code. Experience with GraphQL APIs and front end development. You will have a strong opinion on what good, maintainable code looks like You are familiar with ISO27001 standards and comfortable with implementing monitored controls Teamwork! You’ll be working with and learning from your team members. You need to be able to work well in a team environment, excited to learn from experienced colleagues and keen to pass on your own knowledge in turn. You should be great at communicating your ideas and thinking, even if you don’t always know the answer. You should be strong at giving and receiving feedback. Strong problem solving skills You’ll need to be excellent at working through problems in a structured, logical manner. Experience in finance is not essential, but familiarity with general concepts around money management will be useful.
