Who we're looking for:
Reporting to the Head of Technology - IT Delivery, the IT Business Analyst acts as an intermediary between the business and IT, drawing on a strong understanding of business processes and technology to ensure that the desired business outcomes are achieved. The IT Business Analyst works with the business to understand and define business requirements, will facilitate workshops with stakeholders to gather and analyse the requirements, As-Is and To-Be mapping, RACI, Gap Analysis (People, Process and Technology), Process re-engineering and document Business Process Mapping using MS Visio and drafting Standard Operating Procedures.
You will be part of a multi-disciplinary technology team that works closely with our customers (business, software vendors and partners).
Key responsibilities include:
- Produce documentation as required for each project (including capturing and documenting all business requirements)
- Support project meetings by capturing minutes and actions where required
- Identify impacts and risks in any proposed new process or system amendment
- Educate process stakeholders in new processes or approaches
- Promote architectural consistency and usability standards
- Compile test scripts
- Data gathering, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis, including business process metrics and measures linking to business KPIs
- Documentation of system enhancements
- Act as a conduit between the business and the IT support teams to identify issues, and identify solutions that balance regional needs and global consistency
What do I need to be successful:
- Technical fluency - able to communicate information/issues to non-technical individuals
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to work flexible hours with teams across various global locations and time zones
- System implementation and/or development experience
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Aptitude to learn and apply new technologies and understand business processes
- Understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management
