Job Description
The Community Engagement Coordinator plays a pivotal role in connecting Chari with the community.
Responsibilities include organizing outreach events, collaborating with local partners, and implementing initiatives to raise awareness and involvement in our projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental sustainability initiatives, ensuring alignment with Chari's mission.
- Develop and implement strategies to reduce the organization's environmental footprint.
- Collaborate with community partners and stakeholders on eco-friendly projects.
- Monitor and report on sustainability metrics, promoting awareness within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in grant writing, fundraising, and donor relations.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, along with a strategic mindset and the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
Previous experience in the non-profit sector is preferred.
Qualifications
- Degree in environmental science, sustainability, or a related field.
- Practical experience in sustainability program development and implementation.
