We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Videographer to lead content output for a range of clients, with a particular focus on cricket and live sport. You’ll be passionate about human-led stories, directing video content, and capturing compelling narratives that connect with audiences across various digital platforms.
This is a hands-on role where your creativity, technical expertise, and understanding of sporting environments are vital. You’ll work closely with our producers, creatives, and post team to deliver best-in-class content from concept to final edit. Key Responsibilities- Lead the video team: Act as the most senior shooter in the content department, overseeing match day and event video delivery for various sport and entertainment clients.
- Develop creative treatments and visual narratives that align with creative, audience needs, and platform best practices.
- Direct and shoot in fast-paced environments, from cricket grounds and live sporting venues to set-based productions and studio interviews.
- Collaborate with presenters, athletes, talent, and stakeholders, ensuring they are briefed and aligned with editorial and creative objectives.
- Deliver visually engaging, high-quality content to tight deadlines across various digital platforms.
- Ensure video equipment, workflows, and editing software are maintained to industry standards.
- Lead and mentor the video team, supporting camera operators, editors, and junior creatives to maintain best practices and technical standards.
- 6+ years of proven experience as a Videographer, Self-Shooting Director, or Senior Content Producer, ideally within sports or live event environments.
- Expertise in filming live sporting environments, knowledge of cricket and experience working pitch-side, on matchdays, or with athletes is essential.
- High-level proficiency with a Sony camera package, Sony FX6, FX7, A7S cameras, gimbals, lighting, and sound equipment.
- Expert-level understanding of Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro. Knowledge of After Effects and DaVinci Resolve is advantageous.
- Strong editorial judgement, storytelling ability, and visual communication skills, with the confidence to present ideas and treatments to clients.
- Ability to operate in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, delivering quality content with quick turnarounds.
- Experience managing crews, collaborating with talent, and producers to ensure productions run on time and to budget.
- Willingness to travel regularly and work flexible hours, including match days and live events.
- Experience working within cricket, with an understanding of the culture, players, and fan communities.
- Ability to shoot, edit, and deliver across multiple formats, including short-form social, behind-the-scenes, interviews, and high-production narrative films.
