Your role and responsibilities:

  • Lead creatively on motion graphics edit work, with an expert level of understanding in a wide array of motion graphics processes, providing solutions to creative problems as and when they arise.
  • Have the ability to create high level, industry leading dynamic motion graphic based outcomes from the assets provided, including shot rushes and archive footage, brand guidelines and design assets.
  • Participate actively in brainstorming, conceptualising, and creating motion graphics content for both digital and social platforms that adheres to brand guidelines where necessary.
  • Proactively collaborate with the wider post-production team both internally and externally to share and manage projects.
  • Efficiently multi-task delivering multiple projects simultaneously whilst communicating proactively with project leads, ensuring delivery is met on time and at high quality.
  • Adopt our internal process to accurately report time spent on projects.
  • Strictly follow the project, delivery and folder structures in place to ensure all work is tidy and easily accessible to other members of the team.

You will be able to:

  • Utilise a strong and diverse knowledge of Adobe CC, specifically After Effects and Premiere Pro to create dynamic and successful motion graphic based output that answers client briefs.
  • Work across set projects, delivering to a high standard at all times efficiently and on time according to production timelines.
  • Work across both short form and longer form motion graphics edits and dynamic, quick turnaround digital and social content.
  • Have an expert knowledge of the industry, staying up to date with digital and social trends specifically across motion graphics to implement and elevate your output.
  • Deliver internal and client requests in a timely and proactive manner.
  • Operate to a high standard of organisational skills to adopt internal post-production processes, ensuring projects are neat.
  • Flag any arising issues with your line manager as early as possible to allow time to alleviate and resolve these.
  • Maintain a positive, flexible and adaptable approach to work, focusing on problem solving when needed.
  • Lead projects from a creative standpoint from start to finish, objectively reflecting on your own work in terms of quality and style.
  • Work exceptionally under pressure whilst maintaining strong attention to detail, ensuring quality control is high on both your own and other team members' work.
  • Self-motivate and manage your time effectively.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Demonstrate a high level of experience and expertise within sports content and the sporting industry, with strong knowledge of content trends and design applications.
  • Show confidence in leading projects creatively from the outset, with client facing experience and ability to sell ideas externally.
  • Be comfortable building creative decks, motion graphics treatments and reference boards.
  • Have a positive, problem solving, can-do attitude towards day-to-day client work and wider internal agency needs.
  • Experience in line management is a plus but not essential.
