As Senior Account Manager, PR & Influencer at Multiple, you will be a team lead role across key accounts, taking ownership of client relationships, output, delivery and team development. You will lead integrated PR and influencer campaigns across a portfolio of high-profile clients, ensuring consistently high standards of output while identifying opportunities to grow both accounts and team capability. You will act as a senior point of contact for clients, while supporting your team to take on the responsibility of day-to-day account management. You will play an active role in shaping the agency’s PR offering, supporting new business opportunities and helping shape priorities, resource planning and growth initiatives. You will support financial management across your accounts, including forecasting, revenue tracking and account profitability to ensure commercial performance targets are achieved.
Responsibilities
- Lead the PR and influencer strategy across UK & Ire titles for one of the agency’s key clients.
- Ensure consistent quality control across all outputs.
- Drive “Big Ideas” and identify opportunities to expand scope & add value.
- Manage the team in delivering events, screenings and press activity.
- Contribute to client calls and presentations with confidence and ownership.
- Provide senior counsel where appropriate.
- Translate client requirements into actionable projects that will meet or exceed client expectations.
- Drive project and client profitability and participate in financial tracking, forecasting and month-end processes with support.
- Consult across other existing retainer clients and ensure QC is adhered to across the accounts.
- Act as a senior point of contact for clients when reputational issues arise, providing considered counsel, working with the leadership team on response protocols and proactively flagging potential risks across accounts.
- Own campaign reporting across your accounts, producing clear, insight-led coverage analysis and performance summaries for clients.
- Set and track KPIs with clients at the start of campaigns, and use outcomes to inform future strategy and scope conversations.
- Champion a data-informed approach within the team, helping to build a culture of measurement and continuous improvement.
- Line manage junior and mid-level team members, supporting their progression and development.
- Provide regular feedback, set clear goals and support skill-building.
- Act as the escalation contact to help them to resolve issues promptly.
- Share knowledge, experience and insights with the wider team to share and grow expertise.
- Help delegate day-to-day responsibilities effectively, empowering the team to grow.
- Contribute to improving team processes, workflows and efficiencies.
- Establish manageable workflows to ensure a high standard of client servicing from the team.
New Business
- Proactively identify opportunities for growth across existing clients.
- Contribute to PR workstreams within agency pitches, developing strategic recommendations, resourcing plans and commercial scopes.
- Attend relevant industry events and networking opportunities.
- Support awards submissions and agency marketing initiatives.
Media Relations
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with key journalists, editors and media contacts across entertainment, culture and lifestyle titles.
- Oversee press office activity across accounts, ensuring timely responses, accurate information and a consistent standard of media materials.
- Lead the development of media lists, press materials and pitching strategies, and coach junior team members to do the same.
A Bit About You
- 6+ years agency / client side with PR experience, particularly in the digital and influencer space but wider traditional PR welcome.
- A solid understanding of the entertainment industry, PR and influencer marketing.
- A passion for film and entertainment, with in-depth knowledge of current industry affairs and trends.
- Experience running client communications at all levels.
- Experience with mentoring and nurturing teams.
- Demonstrated experience as a key support on publicity campaigns including junket environments and talent and executive handling.
- A positive and proactive approach to work and not afraid to take initiative.
- Ability to think on your feet, prioritise and manage own time.
- The ability to work effectively with others to achieve a common goal.
- High attention to detail, enthusiastic, energetic and the ability to cope well under pressure.
