Hlx Life Sciences are delighted to be partnering with MultiOmic Health on the hiring of their VP of Therapeutics R&D . MultiOmic Health (“MOH”) is developing a cutting-edge, data-centric platform to advance precision medicine for various chronic dysglycemia-associated complications and cardiorenal indications. Since 2021, MOH has assembled specialized multi-omic and longitudinal clinical datasets from patients with chronic renal complications associated with dysglycemia. Using these datasets, MOH has initiated several innovative preclinical programs aimed at specific subpopulations affected by diabetic kidney disease and other chronic renal conditions, characterized by dysregulated cellular processes that current drugs do not adequately address. The company is drug modality agnostic, with a philosophy of selecting the most practical and effective modality for each target. MOH is seeking to recruit a Vice President of Therapeutics , a role reporting to the company’s Chief Executive Officer. This hire will have the responsibility for nominating, designing, and managing MOH’s precision therapeutic R&D programs to IND or Clinical Phase 1, including programs conducted in partnership with biopharma collaborators. All wet drug discovery work is performed by CROs or collaborators, coordinated by in-house specialists that will report to this new hire. We’re looking for an accomplished drug discovery leader with comprehensive experience across multiple scientific disciplines relevant to new drug development. This person should have hands-on experience in at least two programs that reached First-in-Man, including at least one in a senior or co-lead role. Expertise with at least two drug modalities, such as small molecules, peptides, antibodies, or advanced modalities, is required, along with a strategic approach to target identification and biomarker validation. Academic foundation in areas like medicinal chemistry, antibody engineering, or related fields is beneficial but secondary to practical, real-world drug discovery experience. The ideal candidates will also have experience in smaller, resource-conscious environments such as biotech or mid-sized pharma, in addition to or instead of large pharma. If this role sounds well matched to what you might be looking for, please either apply including your CV or contact Hlx Life Sciences lead on this search, Alex Hiscock. #J-18808-Ljbffr
