Job Title - Lead Engineer - Seat Belts and Safety Components
Location - Gaydon, UK
Job Title -
- Previous experience of managing change and leading the resolution of business, technical and process issues within an engineering project team environment.
- Experience in end-to-end development of commodities in an automotive programme
- Engineering related Degree or relevant equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of safety system development including airbag and/or seat belt dynamic performance, manufacturing processes, related standards and test procedures and vehicle safety attribute delivery, including testing.
- Work On-Cycle to ensure robust deployment of agreed strategies and technologies.
- Work Off-Cycle to develop the right strategies, technologies, and Body of Knowledge artefacts to enable the on-cycle product vision.
- Build and maintain excellent working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested from time to time.
- Own and deliver the commodity plan, meeting quality, cost, and time targets.
- Own and deliver the Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables
- Manage change requests and develop solutions that achieve attribute and programme targets.
