  • Relevant experience in the technical development of ADAS/AV coupled with experience in regulatory field
  • Proven track record in regulatory and governmental affairs work for automated driving and/or ADAS
  • Wide network in Manufacturer’s Associations (SMMT, VDA, ACEA, OICA) and Regulatory Affairs (UNECE – and various DfTs, NHTSA, MIIT, Type Approval Authorities, European Commission, etc.)
  • Ethical, moral and compliant conduct as to build and further expand the network to regulators, legislators and internal stakeholders
  • Leadership abilities and can-do mentality
  • Analytical skills including the ability to conduct complex research into new technologies
  • Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
  • Ability to effectively explain complex ideas, confidently presenting these to senior stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of the implications of automated driving on the technical development, regulatory regime and society
  • Advocating automated driving internally and externally
