About the Role

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver Trainer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled and safety-conscious driver with a passion for training others to ensure the highest standards of driver competence and compliance within our container operations. You will deliver practical and theoretical training to new and existing Class 1 drivers, ensuring they meet all required safety, legal, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality driver training for Class 1 (C+E) container operations
  • Conduct driver assessments, inductions, and on-road training
  • Ensure all training meets legal, safety, and company requirements
  • Support drivers in achieving CPC and FORS qualifications
  • Provide constructive feedback to improve driving standards and compliance in line with in house telematics
  • Maintain accurate training and assessment records
  • Carry out Fleet inspection, Gate checks and random Alcohol testing

This position also requires you to drive a Class 1 HGV to cover shortfalls in busy periods.
