ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Adhere to health and safety protocols by maintaining a safe working environment, using appropriate PPE, and following established procedures for equipment operation and maintenance as well as reporting any issues through correct channels.
- Mechanical & Hydraulic assembly of automotive components.
- Preparation of products and Valve Components for Dyno Testing.
- Dyno test damper units to ensure compliance with customer specification.
- Interrogation of Dyno reports and fault Identification where necessary.
- Rework of Damper units which do not meet Customer or Quality Assurance specifications.
- Completion of paperwork in conformance with QA and Project Administration requirements.
- Assist with maintaining workshop as a clean and safe working environment.
- Participate in R&D activities as required.
- Supports all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the “Presidents Message”.
- Adopts and practices Kaizen principles and concepts, participates in continuous improvement and GEAR activities.
- Follows all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 3 Procedures Manual.
- Supports and adheres to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 9001:2014).
- Maintains working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
- Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Engineering certification or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of MS Windows.
- Basic mechanical assembly experience.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
