Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver project plans for new proposals and existing projects through liaison with functional departments leaders, including creation of cost models and customer quotes.
- Define project scope and timeline, identifying key project deliverables and milestones; maintain relevant documentation and communicate with stakeholders.
- Manpower and facilities planning, ensure resources are available to support project activities; liaise with functional areas to provide replacements if necessary.
- Risk planning and management throughout project, following escalation procedures when necessary.
- Manage project timing within overall project plan; track progress and changes and develop recovery plans when necessary.
- Control project spend within allocated budget, run reports for reporting and escalation.
- Ensure quality of deliverables from functional departments, manage achievement of project deliverables at program milestones, and facilitate customer sign-off at gateway stages.
- Complete all required APQP activities, run stage gates, meet the MNMUK NPI Process.
- Collate and deliver weekly management status reports; external customer liaison and reporting for stand-alone projects.
- Resolve any open issues upon project completion, prepare general final project report and collate lessons learned into database.
- Maintain project file directory database, ensure configuration control for project documents and reports.
- Support all company and department activities associated with meeting the goal in the “Presidents Message”.
- Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts, participate in continuous improvement and GEAR activities.
- Follow all general procedures as indicated in the General Procedures section of the Level 3 Procedures Manual.
- Support and adhere to policies, procedures, and operational guidelines related to established quality management systems (e.g. TS 16949, ISO 9001/2004).
- Maintain working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner.
