The Global Office consists of a team of 5 highly motivated professionals, located either in the London office or remotely, who work to support the network’s operations and strategy.

To manage and deliver the international events programme (both in‑person and virtual) for Multilaw from conception to completion.

Full‑time position. 8 hours per day, five days a week offered on a hybrid basis. Location: London office 2-3 days per week / remote. Salary: £35,000-£40,000

The main duties of the role are:

  • Conference/event management, content programming, logistics, delegate registration, venue liaison, supplier management, event collateral coordination, badges, signage, speaker liaison, event administration, post event reconciliation and analysis.
  • Work with suppliers to negotiate costs and manage third party services.
  • Become an expert user of our online event tools including Zoom webinars.
  • Ensure that costs are controlled and events produce the agreed surplus.
  • Project manage end to end delivery of events and organise regular communication with all involved parties including the host firm, future conference committee, regional committees to ensure the event planning timeline runs to schedule.
  • Manage registrations, conference receipts and payments.
  • Assist with production of event materials including programme agendas, delegate lists, badges, signage etc in conjunction with the Head of Marketing.
  • Review and report on delegate feedback of Multilaw events.
  • Propose ideas to improve provided services and event quality.

Travel commitments: Overseas travel required between 10-20 per cent of the time.

  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar events role in a corporate environment.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills.

Skills required:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • Experience with Zoom webinar and meetings platform.
  • Excellent knowledge of English, both written and verbal.
  • Any other language capabilities will be regarded well particularly Spanish.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
