We are looking for a skilled and motivated Service & Repair Engineer to join our Operations Team. You will be responsible for servicing and repairing assistive equipment such as:
- Ceiling hoists
- Height-adjustable baths and basins
- Changing couches
- Other specialist mobility equipment
Responsibilities
- Complete service and repair tasks to a high standard
- Maintain van stock and drive safely
- Communicate effectively with clients
- Record work using our ERP system (Simpro)
- Respond to emergency repairs
- Share best practices and support team training
- Timely completion of services and repairs
- High first-time fix rate
- Positive customer feedback
- Weekly vehicle checks
Qualifications
- Ability to follow service instructions and wiring diagrams
- Fault-finding skills using electrical test meters
- Experience with power tools and working safely at height
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Positive, proactive attitude
- PASMA, SSSP, CITB, or IPAF certifications (training available)
- Basic IT skills and tablet use
- Full UK driving licence & Enhanced DBS check
- Physically fit and able to work independently
- Experience with mobility equipment (preferred)
