Fitters Mate – Multicare Medical Position Status: Permanent Reporting Relationships: Projects Manager Expected hours of work: Standard hours of work are 0800 – 1630hrs. This may vary due to needs of the business. However, the nature of this position may require time outside of standard hours. A full DBS check will be carried out on the successful candidate. Location: Hinckley or LE67 Expected Salary Range: £12.50 per hour (Annual £26,000) plus overtime. Role: A dynamic and challenging role as a Fitters Mate you will play an important role in the Installations Team of Multicare Medical of achieving our objective to deliver every installation on time, right first time. You will be responsible for assisting the Lead Installer in carrying out installations of ceiling track hoisting systems and other equipment working at various sites across a wide geographical area. Full training will be given for the role including in house training and manufacturer training. Responsibilities: * Assist Lead Installer to carry out installations of ceiling hoists and other equipment to manufacturers specifications. * Take more responsibility as experience increases. * Learn various methods of installation. * Learn and understand the products that are being installed. * Work safely using appropriate PPE where required. * Attend and pass training courses relating to the role. * Keep tools and equipment in good condition and report any faults. * Keep van in clean and tidy condition. Personal Attributes & Qualifications Essential: * Can do attitude. * Highly motivated/shows initiative and is focused with a strong work ethic. * Punctual. * Reliable. * Good attention to detail. * Able to work as part of a team. * Alignment with the Multicare Medical Mission, Vision and Values. * Tidy and organised. * Physically fit as the job involves lifting. * Well-presented and a good communicator. * Full UK driving licence. * Clean DBS check.
