As we continue to expand globally, MultiBank Group is seeking an Institutional FX Sales Executive to join MEX Exchange. Our leading institutional Electronic Communication Network (ECN) provides deep liquidity, competitive pricing, and advanced execution solutions to financial institutions, brokers, hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, asset managers, and other professional market participants. Our technology-driven platform delivers transparent access to global FX liquidity while enabling clients to optimize execution quality and trading performance.
Role Overview
The Institutional FX Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and onboarding institutional clients to the Mex Exchange ECN. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of FX markets, liquidity solutions, electronic trading, and institutional client requirements. This is a revenue-generating role focused on developing long-term partnerships and expanding Mex Exchange's global client base.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Identify and acquire new institutional clients, including FX and CFD brokers, hedge funds, asset managers, proprietary trading firms, banks and financial institutions, introducing brokers, and professional trading groups.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and client acquisition targets.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline through networking, referrals, industry events, conferences, and direct outreach.
- Client Relationship Management
- Establish trusted relationships with key decision-makers including CEOs, CIOs, Heads of Trading, Treasury Managers, and Operations teams.
- Understand client trading needs and recommend appropriate ECN connectivity, liquidity, and execution solutions.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting through onboarding and activation.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth client integration and ongoing support.
- Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings, regulatory developments, and institutional trading requirements.
- Provide feedback to management regarding client demands and emerging opportunities.
- Represent Mex Exchange at industry conferences, webinars, and networking events.
- Work closely with liquidity, technology, compliance, and onboarding teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
- Support product development initiatives by providing market feedback and client insights.
Role Requirements
- Experience
- 3+ years of experience in institutional FX sales, prime brokerage, liquidity sales, electronic trading, or related financial markets roles.
- Proven track record of acquiring and managing institutional clients.
- Existing network within the institutional FX and trading ecosystem is highly desirable.
- Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of FX markets and liquidity structures, ECN and electronic trading environments, Prime-of-Prime and institutional liquidity solutions, FIX API connectivity, and trading technology concepts.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to engage senior-level stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Self-motivated with a strong entrepreneurial mindset.
- Experience using CRM systems and sales pipeline management tools.
