About the Role As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing the financial and cost-related aspects of projects from inception through to completion. Working closely with project managers, engineers, and clients, you will ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This position is ideal for an ambitious professional seeking to advance in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Preparation and management of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for both domestic and commercial projects. * Conduct feasibility studies to accurately forecast materials, time, and labour costs. * Oversee project progress and handle the procurement of materials and services. * Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors. * Perform risk management analysis to minimise potential project risks. * Maintain detailed records of financial transactions and project expenditures. * Collaborate with project teams to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency. * Preparation of interim valuations and final accounts for completed projects.
